Hello ladies and gentlemen! I hope this day finds you excited and ready to do whatever it takes to focus on the community around us and reach out to those hurting in our neighborhoods. There are two things that I want to continue to remind you of as we continue to follow Christ’s example. First, please remember that Navigation is held on every Thursday night and needs your support. This is our time to plan and contact those who have been our guests over the past week and plan for events that are coming up in the near future. Secondly, we have two things to prepare for….One, we are going into the neighborhoods on September the 18th to deliver school supplies and small food items…really just to let our neighbors know we care for and love them. We have a planning meeting on the 2nd of September when I will let you know the neighborhoods we are going to focus on, and then plan our distribution routes. That meeting will start at 6:30pm and a meal will be provided so please make it a point to be there. Secondly, Fall Festival is just around the corner in October and myself and the team that will be working along with me to make Fall Festival be wonderful will need your help in preparing and organization. We will have a different planning meeting for Fall Festival shortly so keep your ears and eyes open because I will need your help in planning! Thank you all so much for all you do already to make outreach a primary part of your lives. It is a pleasure to work along other servants who understand the desperate need to get God’s Word into a community who so desperately need Him! I look forward to seeing you soon!
